VISITING PRIEST
As a parish community, we are delighted to welcome Fr. Cristian Pista to spend a month among us. He is resident in the Parochial House and will be involved in Masses and other services in the Parish. He is anxious to interact with parishioners as much as possible. He belongs to the Archdiocese of Bucharest in Romania. He was ordained 12 years ago and has spent 9 of those years as a volunteer missionary in Northern Kenya close to the Ethiopian border. When he returns after the summer, he will be responsible for the foundation of a new parish in his enormous missionary diocese. He had knee surgery in April and is still recuperating. We wish him a speedy betterment and a good experience in Ireland and our parish.
