Mary Byrne (née Shephard) Killalesh Lower, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow – 6th June 2024 in the loving care of all at Baltinglass Hospital surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Christy and son John. Sadly missed by her loving sons Andy and Anthony (Figgis) daughters-in-law Rosemary and Pam, grandchildren Michelle, Kelly, Emma and Evan and their partners Adam, Lloyd and Haley, great-grandson Cuan, niece Mary, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Friday from 5pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Talbotstown on Saturday for 2pm Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in Cranareen Cemetery, Rathdangan, Co. Wicklow.

Mary Moore Corr nee ByrneJune 20, 2024

Mary Moore Corr (née Byrne) Williamstown, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow and Oxford, England died 8th May 2024 in England; predeceased by her daughter Kathleen, husbands Michael (Moore) and Vincent (Corr), brother Charles and daughter-in-law Anne. Sadly missed by her sons Bill and Séan, daughter Julie, daughter-in-law Elsie, son-in-law Ian, sister Patty, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place in England. A memorial Mass for Mary will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly at 12 noon this Saturday, 22nd June after which her ashes will be laid to rest in Rathvilly Cemetery.

Sean Murphy, Killalesh, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow – 23rd June 2024 peacefully at Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving family; predeceased by his son Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving wife Rita, sons John, Paul and James, Paul’s partner Liz, grandson Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) Monday evening from 5pm concluding at 8pm sharp. Funeral Home private thereafter please. Removal from his residence on Tuesday morning to The Church of The Assumption, Tynock, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass, after which he will be laid to rest in Tynaclash Cemetery.

Carlow – 25th June 2024 peacefully in the loving care of all at SignaCare; predeceased by her loving husband Denis, daughter Marian (Cassells) son-in-law Joe (Harbourne) sister Martha and brothers Davy, Mick, John and Bill. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Betty and Sheelagh, sons-in-law Jim and Seamus, sister Sarah, brothers Paddy, Alex and Miley, sisters-in-law, adored grandchildren Kenn, Jamie, Jimmy, Stephen, Eve, Joseph and Aaron, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Carlow – 25th June 2024 peacefully at Tallaght Hospital surrounded by his loving family; son of the late John and Bridget, cherished brother of Donnacha, John and Miriam, brother-in-law of Ann and Lars, beloved uncle of Paul, Emma, Clare, Donn, Louise, Erik, Anna, Eoghan, Edel, Olivia and Saoirse, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his family home in Rathdaniel on Saturday, 29th June, from 4pm concluding at 8pm. Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly at 11am on Sunday after which he will be laid to rest with his parents in Coltstown Cemetery, Castldermot.
