Violet Gavin (née Goldwater), 5 Slaney Meadows, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow and formerly of Wexford and Dublin – 23rd December 2024 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Bernard. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Yvonne, sons Bernard, Richard and William, daughters-in-law and partners, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter, Yvonne’s residence Friday evening, 27th December for family only. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly on Saturday morning for 11 o’c Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Bernard in Dardistown Cemetery.
